Why did you choose WLC?

I chose Wisconsin Lutheran College to continue to grow my faith, strengthen my confidence in the Lord, and narrow my gifts down to find the right career.

Tell us about your favorite WLC experience.

My favorite WLC experience, if I had to narrow it down to only one, was clinching the NCAA Division III playoff for basketball. The fans, the intensity, and overall atmosphere was a unforgettable experience.

Who is your favorite WLC professor or staff member?

My favorite professor was Dr. Stacy Jensen ‘01 in communication. Stacy was very calm, patient, and shared good experiences to ease anxieties as I made presentations. I still practice some of the habits before presenting to large groups.

What have you accomplished on your bucket list since graduation?

Since leaving WLC, I found my gift of serving others. I have tried out different career paths, yet have always been redirected back to the path of serving others. The highlight is being able to unselfishly help others and share their joy.

What is next on your bucket list to complete?

My future bucket list includes mentoring others. One thing I definitely found out is how to effectively meet others where they are at and help them achieve their goals. In the future, continuing to mentor others to carry out this passion will be a win for me.
