Why did you choose WLC?
I don't really recall when and why I decided to attend Wisconsin Lutheran College. I think it just slowly become apparent to me my senior year of high school that WLC was the right place for me to be.
Tell us about your favorite WLC experience.
One of my favorite experiences was singing in the Praise Team for Friday chapels my junior and senior years. I enjoyed that style of music, and being able to lead worship with other students was a great experience.
Who is your favorite WLC professor or staff member?
Not only was Dr. Tom Neils a good chemistry teacher, but he was a great life teacher as well. I still remember some of things he taught me during freshman chemistry class, and some of things he taught outside the classroom. Being able to reconnect with him recently in Grand Rapids, Michigan, was such a joy.
What have you accomplished on your bucket list since graduation?
I never got to be a Racing Sausage at a Brewers game, but I did get to race against a few.
What is next on your bucket list to complete?
My involvement in coaching and professional organizations has taken me to many places. My goal is to visit (not just drive through) every state in the country. I've already been to 30, so 20 more to go!
