Wisconsin Lutheran College’s unique location on the edge of Milwaukee provides students with the best of both worlds. The small-campus atmosphere provides a charming residential experience, while allowing for quick access to Wauwatosa and Milwaukee’s cultural and recreational activities.
What is there to do when you’re not on campus? Plenty!
We're located on the border of Wauwatosa and Milwaukee, putting us at the center of the greater Milwaukee area. There are excellent dining and shopping options close to campus in the historic Village of Wauwatosa, and plenty of greenspace in local parks if you want to spend a little time in nature. The nationally recognized Milwaukee County Zoo and the Pettit National Ice center are nearby campus as well.
Milwaukee’s world-class museums and restaurants are just a short drive or bus ride away. Sports fans can take in a Milwaukee Brewers game or head to the Fiserv Forum to see the Bucks play. The city plays host to fantastic touring musicians and performing artists all year long, and is home to a symphony orchestra and ballet company — both with beautiful new venues to enjoy. You’ll find miles of hiking and biking trails, urban kayaking and paddling routes, and unbeatable views of Lake Michigan.
No matter what you’re interested in — or want to explore — you won’t have to travel far to experience all the greater Milwaukee area has to offer.
