Divine Servant Award Celebration

Wisconsin Lutheran College will present the Divine Servant Award to Dennis Quaid during a celebration event on Friday, May 30, 2025. The 2025 Divine Servant Award Celebration will take place at Discovery World in downtown Milwaukee.

ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us for a delightful evening of networking and mingling with fellow leaders while supporting scholarships for Wisconsin Lutheran College students who will make an impact on our community. The celebration will take place at Discovery World, a spectacular location on Lake Michigan overlooking downtown Milwaukee. Savor tantalizing hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer, and cocktails while learning about Dennis Quaid. Feast on a three-course gourmet dinner by Bartolotta Catering and Events. Learn about our awardee's extraordinary life and career through a moderated conversation with Dennis Quaid, followed by a coffee and dessert reception.
There is a maximum capacity for the event; please make your reservations as soon as possible. Individual tickets are available for $375 per person or tables of ten for $3,750. Care to take your evening to the next level of meeting Dennis Quaid in-person with a photo-op? Try an upgraded VIP experience, which is available for guests who purchase a sponsorship. Your extra-special evening will include a VIP pre-event reception and personal photo opportunity with Quaid. This VIP experience will be a once-in-a-lifetime moment for you and your guests. Sponsorships range from $8,500 to $25,000; please inquire for additional information.
All proceeds from this fundraising event will directly impact the next generation of Christian servant leaders in the form of scholarships at Wisconsin Lutheran College.

ABOUT THE 2025 RECIPIENT
Dennis Quaid
Dennis Quaid is an Emmy® Award and two-time Golden Globe® nominee with 150 television and film credits to his name. He is known for his roles in the hit films The Rookie, The Day After Tomorrow, Traffic, Vantage Point, Frequency, The Parent Trap, Soul Surfer, The Right Stuff, Breaking Away, Midway, and many more.
In 2024, he portrayed the 40th president of the United States in the biopic Reagan. Quaid’s other recent big-screen credits include an Oscar-nominated film, The Substance, as well as The Long Game, which earned the audience award at SXSW in 2023.
Alongside his acting career, Quaid is also a respected singer-songwriter with hundreds of thousands of miles under his belt as a recording and touring musician who’s been playing music since his grandfather bought him his first guitar. In 2023, Quaid released his Christian inspirational album, Fallen, via Gaither/Primary Wave. The record tells the story of Quaid’s personal faith journey through classic hymns he grew up with along with original songs.
