Our partnership with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) provides you with an early acceptance opportunity to obtain both a bachelor's degree in biology from WLC and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from LECOM.
You will spend four years at WLC and four years at LECOM, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from WLC and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from LECOM.
Getting into a good medical school isn’t easy, but our commitment to personal attention from highly trained faculty, and our partnership with LECOM (a medical school with the most applications in the country), allow students to be provisionally admitted to medical school and WLC at the same time if they have a 3.5 GPA and 26 ACT.
Acceptance into this program means students will not have to take the MCAT exam if they get the right grades in the right classes at WLC!
If you are interested in obtaining a medical degree, connect with your WLC admissions counselor so they can partner you with a faculty mentor.
