Camp WLC: Heroes for Health
Summer Nursing Camp
July 21-24, 2014
Camp WLC: Heroes for Health, a four-day program sponsored by Wisconsin Lutheran College's nursing program, is designed to introduce middle school students who have an interest in science to the joys and challenges of a career in professional nursing, all in the context of Christian service. The camp is held annually in July.
Participants engage in entertaining and educational activities, gaining exposure to the nursing profession. The camp includes on-campus learning experiences and off-site tours.
Camp WLC: Heroes for Health is open to middle school students who are entering seventh, eighth, or ninth grade in the fall of 2014. The cost of the program is $100, which includes a camp shirt and all materials, lunches, snacks, and off-site tours. Scholarships are available.
The 2014 camp will be held in Generac Hall on the Wisconsin Lutheran College campus from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 21-24. Download the flyer and registration form.
